Ticket Purchase Terms

Version 1.0 · Last revised: August 13, 2026

These Ticket Purchase Terms apply whenever you purchase or obtain a ticket through VyNext. By completing a ticket purchase, you agree to these terms, the refund policy displayed for the applicable event, and the VyNext Terms of Service.

1. Application of These Terms

These Ticket Purchase Terms apply to tickets, admissions, and related purchases made through VyNext. They supplement the VyNext Terms of Service and the refund policy presented for the applicable event at the time of purchase.

Where a school offers the event or ticket, the school remains the seller. VyNext provides the technology that processes the purchase and delivers the ticket.

2. Tickets and Admission

A ticket is an admission credential for the applicable event subject to venue rules, safety requirements, and the Event Organizer’s admission policies.

A ticket may be voided or rejected if it is duplicated, altered, fraudulently created, refunded, or already used. Purchasers are responsible for protecting ticket credentials.

3. Refunds

Refund availability is governed by the refund policy presented for the event at the time of purchase and applicable law. The Event Organizer determines whether an event is canceled, postponed, rescheduled, relocated, delayed, or otherwise changed.

VyNext may provide technology to communicate changes and administer refunds but does not independently make the school’s event-management or refund decisions.

4. Payment and Fees

Purchases may include ticket prices, applicable taxes, payment-processing amounts, and VyNext platform or transaction fees disclosed before purchase. Electronic payments may be processed by Stripe or another disclosed payment processor.

By completing the transaction, you authorize collection of the total amount shown at checkout.

5. Policy at Time of Purchase

The refund policy presented for your transaction when you purchase the ticket governs that purchase, subject to applicable law. A later change to a school-wide or event-specific policy will not ordinarily alter the policy applicable to an already-completed purchase.

If multiple events are included in one order, the refund policy applicable to each event controls the tickets purchased for that event.

6. Canceled and Rescheduled Events

Refund eligibility for a canceled event depends on the refund policy applicable to the purchase and applicable law. A postponed, rescheduled, delayed, or relocated event does not automatically create a right to a refund unless the applicable policy or law provides one.

When a refund is due, the ticket price is refunded according to the policy applicable to the purchase. Payment-processing amounts and VyNext platform or service fees are nonrefundable unless applicable law requires otherwise or VyNext separately approves an exception. A school may request VyNext review of its platform fee, but the request does not delay the ticket-price refund and does not guarantee approval.

7. Ticket Security and Validation

You are responsible for protecting your ticket and its QR code or other admission credential. Do not publicly post or unnecessarily share an active ticket credential.

If another person obtains and successfully uses your credential before you do, the Event Organizer may be unable to admit you with the same ticket. VyNext may use technical controls to identify credentials that have already been redeemed.

8. Admission Rules

The Event Organizer controls admission to its event. A valid ticket does not prevent enforcement of lawful venue rules, safety requirements, age or eligibility restrictions, conduct rules, prohibited-item policies, or other applicable admission requirements.

VyNext does not independently make on-site admission decisions.

9. Guest Checkout and Delivery

Where available, you may purchase tickets without creating a VyNext account. You must provide accurate contact information so tickets, receipts, event updates, and refund communications can be delivered.

Purchasing as a guest does not change these terms or the Event Organizer’s applicable policies.

10. Chargebacks, Technical Issues, and Privacy

Nothing in these terms eliminates rights you may have under applicable payment-card or consumer-protection laws. However, payment disputes or chargebacks must not be used fraudulently to obtain both the benefit of admission and reimbursement for the same purchase.

VyNext and the Event Organizer may provide relevant transaction, ticket, admission, refund-policy, and redemption information to parties involved in resolving a legitimate dispute.

If a technical problem prevents access to a valid purchased ticket, contact VyNext or the Event Organizer for assistance. Information collected during checkout is handled according to the VyNext Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the Event Organizer’s privacy practices.

Questions?

Questions about a specific event or refund should be directed to the school offering the event. Questions about these terms may be submitted through the VyNext Contact Us page.
